Update on litter and dog waste bins in Westbury

Update 30.01.19 – We are pleased to let you know that the bin at Suffolk Road/Black Horse Lane has been replaced today and our providers Idverde have kindly installed a bin at no cost to the Council at Timor Play Area.

Update 07.01.19 – We are pleased to let you know that the bin on Redland Lane has been replaced this morning.

Westbury Town Council have been made aware of several damaged or missing litter/dog waste bins in Westbury and as Wiltshire Council no longer replaces these, we have agreed to replace them.

For several months Westbury Town Council have been in negotiations with Wiltshire Council to secure the emptying of any replacement bins and now this has been agreed, replacement bins that we are aware of will be replaced soon.

All these bins will be suitable for litter/dog waste and Wiltshire Council will empty them.

You may be aware that Wiltshire Council no longer replaces damaged or missing litter/dog waste bins.  Town and Parish Councils are invited to purchase replacement bins and Wiltshire Council will continue to empty the bins.

Westbury Town Council have been made aware of several damaged or missing litter/dog waste bins in Westbury and have agreed to replace them.

New bins have been purchased and will soon be installed in the following locations:
Grassacres Park / Suffolk Road, Black Horse Lane / Frogmore Lake

New bins are being ordered for the following locations:
Meadow Lane / Redland Lane

All these bins will be suitable for litter/dog waste and Wiltshire Council will empty them.
