PART-TIME Administration Assistant
We require an enthusiastic administrator for our busy office. You must be organised and have excellent communication & IT skills. Finance knowledge is desirable.
Within this role, you will be responsibility for a variety of administration tasks, for example:
First point of contact for the public, answering the phone and dealing with issues raised. Signposting to colleagues and other agencies
To work with a small team undertaking administrative duties in order that the office runs smoothly and resources are available at all times
Opening and distributing post, preparing mail for posting
Provide administrative support to the Town Clerk and officers
Finance duties, to include assisting with purchase orders, petty cash and banking
Help prepare agendas, attend meetings to take minutes.
Salary: Local Government Scale 3 £17,072 to £17,772 pro rata
Hours: 30 per week – Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri
Closing date: Friday 9th June 2017.
